Professor James Head Presents
to Study Club
As a fitting conclusion to our study club curriculum of 2007-2008, the Providence Plantations
Dental Study Club met for our Final Dinner at the Squantum Club in Riverside, Rhode Island. Despite the inclimate
weather, we were still able to overlook Narragansett Bay and had a fine evening of good food, great friends,
and the camaraderie of colleagues.
Keeping with tradition, our study club was treated to a wonderful
surprise following dinner. Perfectly timed with current events to take place that following weekend, Professor James Head
of the Department of Geological Sciences at Brown University gave a wonderful presentation on Mars exploration to our group.
Noticing our enthusiasm for the subject, Professor Head extended the following invitation to our group later
